WELCOME TO WHITEHORSE NETBALL ASSOCIATION

We provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy netball in a fun and inclusive environment.

Currently our netball community comprises of more than 2000 families. In our combined competitions we have over 250 teams that take the court each week and our players range from 7 years of age through to players in their 70’s.

Whitehorse Netball caters for umpires of all ages who officiate over 125 matches each week.  And each year approximately 150 players participate in our representative program.

Whitehorse Netball runs a skill/ability based competition, focusing on teaching and developing specific skills and strategies that are relevant to the player's and umpire's current skill level, while considering the player's age and physical, mental, and social development.  This approach aims to develop confident, well-rounded athletes.

As a Whitehorse Netball you can expect to play with players around your age, and perhaps more importantly, around your own ability.  We have many options - different levels of competitiveness, friendship, and not so competitive sections/teams to ensure we cater for everyone.  We also welcome teams from other competitions who join us specifically to develop their players based on skill and ability, rather than age.
